Coalport London Shape Strawberry Pattern Trio 1820

We have for sale a very attractive and unusual Coalport bone china trio decorated in a very striking strawberry pattern dating to somewhere around 1820.
This very attractive London shaped trio is is of a typical Coalport shape and beautifully decorated with strawberries and gilt over a salmon ground, but is formed from a bone china rather than the rather greyish hybrid hardpaste normally used by Coalport in this period. However, there is evidence that in the 1820s Coalport did occasionally produce bone china cups of this shape in bone china, see page 82 in "A Compendium of British Cups" by Michael Berthoud.
The saucer of the trio is 5.75 inches diameter and the coffee can is 2.5 inches high. All components of the trio are in a good to very good antique condition although there is some wear to the gilding in places.
