Collection of Antique Stoneware Jars / Inkwells

Collection of Antique Stoneware Jars / Inkwells.
The 2 squat brown jars were definitely made as Inkwells. The original purpose of the 2 taller brown & one cream jars is unclear.
All of these would have been used in everyday life.
In the 19th century these would have been very common but most have been destroyed, hence the rarity of the few remaining.
Condition is very good for age, the cream one has what appears to be a chip but in fact was done before the pot went for glazing.
Size various from 1.75" to 3"
