Circa 1890. Comfortable late Victorian upholstered wing chair covered in a quality tapestry material in excellent condition as is underlying traditional upholstery. The padded back with shaped wings extending down as shaped arms above a generous upholstered seat in good condition and supported on mahogany turned legs with brass caps and casters. The casters stamped Langebear & Company and with splayed rear legs. Chairs possibly by Whytock & Reid who used Langebear & Company brass fittings.
