For sale today we have this superb "Swaddled Christ Child- Arbor Vitae" pottery plaque by the Compton Potters' Art Guild. A gorgeous piece of Arts & Crafts pottery to a design by Mary Seton Watts. Features Jesus as a child represented as the "Tree of Life". A nicely potted example. Measures 5 1/4 " x 3 1/2". Bears an impressed Compton stamp to the rear along with it's original hanging hook.
In good overall condition. A couple of flat chips to the non display edges to note. We are experienced dealers in mid to high end ceramics, metalware and other items.
