This wardrobe is a classic piece of Cotswold School design with its chamfered and panelled doors, exposed dovetails to the plinth, dished wooden handles and panelled back. The oak is well-figured and the wardrobe is very well crafted, most probably dating to the third quarter of the twentieth century. Internally it has an unusual arrangement of two banks of eight drawers that are constructed with oak fronts and mahogany linings. It splits into two halves for ease of movement and, with the drawers removed, it could be fitted with a hanging rail if desired.

It measures 108cm wide, 177.5cm high and 58.5cm deep.

In very good and original condition with the slightest separation of the planks on the sides due to shrinkage.
