Quality Oak Dresser - Wonderfully Detailed - c1800
This quality oak display dresser is excellently presented throughout and superbly crafted.
This well proportioned and very functional piece offers both beauty and style. Rising from well formed cabriole legs into a pierced lower frieze, with field panel sides and a useful pair of deep drawers.
The upper section of the dresser is perfect for display with twin cabinets flanking the plate rack area and galleries to the top with beautiful pierced frieze below a wide crown moulding. Twin small drawers offer storage for cutlery and smaller items.
The upper doors add to the desirability of the dresser with rare spire tops. A key is present for these cabinets doors.
At the upper surface the dresser displays exquisitely with rich oak colour and fine boxwood and ebony stringing leading into mahogany cross-banding at the perimeter. This amazing attention to detail is repeated on the drawer fronts and upper cabinet doors.
Quality is displayed throughout the piece. With solid oak construction, oak lined drawers, fine mahogany cross-banding to the drawers & doors, brass antique furniture and superb craftsmanship this item is as well built as it is stunning.
