An impressive 19th century Danish Biedermeier secretaire chest.
Boasting fine quality flamed mahogany marquetry work throughout.
The top with the distinctive Biedermeier pagoda top above the fall flap enclosed a fitted interior briefly writing surface, ebonised bordered serpentine and flat front miniature drawers, cupboard and storage compartments. Fitted four long graduated drawers above and below with oak lined interiors and dovetailed jointing. Raised on carved feet.
Supplied with original key - all locking mechanisms in smooth working order.
