A decorative Mid-late Victorian period Bergere Armchair in a largely original state.
With lovely swept out arms showing their natural ware. The Frame has a caned back with no loss leading down to a upholstered heavily distressed Leather cushion fixed with Brass Studs.
The front Cabriole Legs sit on beautifully shaped claws feet while the rear Sabres sweep away.
The Chair is in good original condition having only had a professional repair to the Leather Seat and has only been lightly waxed to protect the woodwork and showcase the Patina.
