Sweet 18th century Derby porcelain figure of a recumbent doe roe deer. She lies on a rounded white base with some leaves and white daisy flowers between her legs and a matching bocage behind. Daintily painted with shades of brown with white spots and amber eyes and with black hooves and tips of the ears. Patch marks to base.

It measures 4 1/2" wide, 2 1/4" deep and 2 7/8" high. Condition is very good overall to the deer itself with a small chip missing to the tip of her right ear and possible touching up of the black enamel. The bocage is quite reduced from it's original size and has a few usual small chips to the remaining leaves and petals. No restoration and light surface wear. There are a couple of small firing lines as is often the case around where the bocage meets the base and under the armpit of her front right leg.
