Superb distressed set of late 19th.c. haberdashery or apothecary type drawers c.1890. Twenty four drawers (internal dimensions width 23.5cm, depth 26cm, height 16cm) with original cast iron handles. Pine drawer fronts later overpainted and annotated for use in a plumber’s workshop. Good usable condition, ideal for a collector or artists studio perhaps. Obvious wear to the exterior and one replacement handle. Solid and sturdy, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
