Dresden Porcelain Monkey Band Figure Clarinet


A sweet late 19th century Dresden porcelain monkey band figure of a clarinet player. Finely painted dressed in a yellow jacket with pink breaches and patterned waistcoat wearing a powdered wig. Underglaze blue crossed swords marks to base and incised numerals.
He measures 13cm (5 1/8") high and 5.5cm (2 1/8") wide.
Condition: the instrument is broken off below his hands. No other issues. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
