Regency Vanity Mirror - Excellent Condition - c1820
A gorgeous and pleasing example of a Regency Vanity Mirror.
This well kept piece is in great order throughout.
Twin supports rise from the solid plinth to provide support for the mirror glass. The supports display interesting shape with moulded edge detail. The solid plinth benefits from classic cut-moon edge to the front and sides.
The mirror plate is in good order and the surround is flame veneer mahogany. The piece rides upon turned feet.
To the side the locating side knobs are pleasingly turned and marry well with the scroll carved detail to the ends of the support frame.
Overall a nicely proportioned and attractive regency period mirror in good antique order displaying excellent shape. It is perfect as an everyday mirror or simply as a feature item.
