Splendid Georgian Dressing Mirror - Jewelry Cabinet - c1800

A gorgeous example of an English Georgian Dressing Mirror with an unusual design incorporating a fitted interior perfect for jewelry, cufflinks, watches, perfumes and accessories.

A mahogany base with moulded plinth and ebony stringing opens to reveal an eight section interior with mahogany linings, quality base textile and original pulls.

Triple turned and well detailed riser bars support the cross-banded veneered mirror frame.

The mirror plate is original, in good order, and shows some desirable light marks of age and light foxing.

Overall a simply lovely Georgian mirror in great condition and a piece to be welcomed into any location. Ideal for daily use or as a feature piece whether atop a chest, widow sill or dressing table.
