A superb quality oval strike repeat carriage antique clock by the esteemed French maker, Drocourt, signed on the enamel dial centre, Metcalf & Co., 8 Pall Mall, London, who would have been the retailers. The gilded case is profusely engraved as is the dial surround and handle. The 8 day movement with Striking the hours and half hours on a gong. The clock comes complete with its original, serial numbered case.
