STUNNING PAIR OF C1839 LONDON PUBLISHED ENGRAVINGS OF JOHN HENRY MANNERS 5TH DUKE OF RUTLAND AND ELIZABETH DUTCHESS OF RUTLAND AFTER THE ORIGINAL PAINTING BY GEORGE SANDERS
A magnificent quality pair of London Published portraits produced by Thomas Boys in 1839 after the original paintings by George Sanders and later produced as engravings by S.Cousins of Elizabeth Dutchess of Rutland and by engraver John Lewis depicting John Henry Manners the 5th Duke of Rutland.
The inscription on each portrait also bears a written signature of the Dutchess and Duke.
The inscription reads as follows

An excellent pair of portraits capturing the full ceremonial costumes and jewelled garments in great detail and accurately depicting the titled gentry.
