Early 1930s Oak Swivel Desk Chair New Leather
A fine-looking piece of kit, this early 1930s desk chair, was found in a Lancashire workshop – desk to follow…
These are handsome beasts and are becoming a bit of a classic. This one is presented in great original condition with its history proudly on display – nice marking on the oak base and arms. We have endeavoured to leave the chair in an un-messed with condition with only careful cleaning etc however the seat was gone so now has new webbing topped with an antiqued green leather finished with brass studs.
Workshop report:- The chair swivel mechanism has been cleaned and lubricated, the oak frame checked over for any loose joints, the original castors brushed over and finally a light waxing to the frame to finish it off. The swivel is spinning well and you can adjust the height if you wish. As mentioned the seat has been fully refurbished – new webbing, filling, leather and studs.
We love these chairs and this one is a cracker, looking exceptionally good in oak!

Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions
If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.
On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
