Early 1800s French Pocket Watch Stand.
Painted wood body (red and black), brass fittings and eagle on top.
Convex glass cover to the front of the watch compartment.
The watch compartment is fitted with a hook for a pocket watch and opens at the front (glass cover) and back (brass lid).
Stunning and rare watch stand almost 200 years old.
Listed items are usually available to view at the Red House Antiques Centre in York.
