Early 19th Cent Mahogany Scottish 8 Day Long Case

A very attractive early 19th Cent Scottish longcase clock. It is by Archibald Young of Murraygate, Dundee, Scotland. He is listed as working there around 1828.
The good quality case is veneered in very nicely figured mahogany, it has retained its original finish and is a lovely colour. The trunk door has a working lock and key.
It has the expected signs of age and use but overall has survived in excellent condition
The 8 day, weight driven movement strikes the hours on a bell. It has an attractive painted dial with subsidiary date and seconds dials.
The movement is in good working order and keeping good time. There is a small blemish to the dial near the seconds hand.
The maximum dimensions are:
212cm (83.5") high
51cm (20") wide
25cm (10") deep
Free local delivery and set up (50mls), national and international delivery arranged at cost)
