Early 19th Cent.tavern Candlestick Brass tavern candlestick
An early 19th cent. "Tavern" candlestick,with original fitted bell and clanger, drip tray.34cms high.
Circa 1835-40
These candlesticks were made for inns where they were placed on customer's antique tables enabling them to ring for service.They are rare items.
