An elegant piece with beautifully crisp fretwork to the backboard with an inverted heart and egg from the Welsh marches. Although made of beech it has a depth of warm colour like walnut and wonderfully smooth to the touch. There are a few random woodworm holes and, although long dead, treated for peace of mind.
