An outstanding English antique weathervane of an eagle with outstretched wings coming in to land.

The 3 dimensional copper body is pressed and shows realistic feather markings and an open beak The bird is perched on a large Ball with smaller ball below and the N,S, E and W below, this is all in coper, the piece has an iron rod through from bottom to top and it has a fixing bracket at the base
The Eagle is wether worn with a genuine verdigris patination, it has damage to its legs but all is sound and there is no need to repair them
The wing Span of the Eagle is 21 inches and it is 18 inches High
The overall height off the Weather Vane is 50 inches
