Very handsome early 19th.c. longcase clock by Benjamin Harlow of Lane End (a market town in Staffordshire incorporated in Longton in 1865) c.1820. Fine mahogany case with inlaid and crossbanded details, swan-neck pediment, fluted columns, brass fittings and a long, slim door with flame mahogany veneer and shaped top typical of early in the century. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Bright painted face with rolling moon, separate second hand and date wheel. Works have been cleaned and overhauled and are sold with a twelve month guarentee.
