Fabulous early 19th.c. North Wales oak cloak or tack cupboard c.1820. Designed to stand in an entrance hall it would have provided useful storage for clothing and riding gear which could be hung from the two rows of original peg hooks in the top. With two useful long drawers in the base (the top two drawers are dummy fronts) retaining the original turned knobs. Shaped door panels, diamond shaped bone escutcheons, carved and reeded detail to the corners, panelled sides and back. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied. Could be easily fitted with shelves to make a useful kitchen cabinet.
