This superb and stylish early 20th C. Chinese hand carved and painted, lacquered hardwood screen on stand is inlaid with hard stone and mother of pearl, and depicts eight deities against a bright blue background. The reverse side is a patterned design with bats. It measures 34 ¼ in – 87 cm wide, 33 in – 83.8 cm high and 10 ¼ in – 26 cm deep.
