This is a delightful early 20th century Chinese red lacquer chest with a wonderful rich red colour dating from around 1920. The chest is in excellent original condition with a lovely warm patina and attractive hand painted floral and leaf designs throughout the piece. This has is original brassware with decorative hasp and attractively shaped handles to the sides.

The chest is a practical size measuring 78 cms wide 38 cms high by 54 cms.
