A very functional and early oak chest of drawers with some later adaptions. The chest is typical of the very late seventeenth and early eighteenth century and follows the tradition of geometric front moulded drawers but here the moulding is very simple. The chest has had some alteration and restoration over the years but is basically a sound and usable early eighteenth century oak chest of drawers with a good original patina and a great look. C.1700.
