Early 'Hook & Spike' Quaker Clock

An Early 18th Century 'Hook & Spike' Quaker antique clock.c.1720. Brass and silvered 9" dial with ribbed centre and gilt spandrels to the corners. Single pointer to the bell striking movement. Full working order. Measures 7"deep x 45"drop including pendulum.
Quaker antique clocks were unnamed due to fear of persecution. Alot of these style of early lantern wall mounted clocks came from the Oxfordshire area.
