A Super Quality Pair Cased Verge-fusee English made in 1785 by Windsor watchmaker George Hanson , name all engraved on the watch movement , watch is working well having been serviced recently and takes a full wind, with a protection cover with a regulator point, very rare to see this design
The condition is excellent with both silver cases matching with full London Hallmarks for 1785, also marked TC for Thomas Carpenter case makers of the time
The white enamel dial still in remarkable condition for its age hardly any cracks or chips and possible still with its original gold hands , long neck stem with original loop and fixings
Really nice to have the Turquoise case button these are usual missing , plus the old watch repairers paper placed in the outer case
Comes with old Victorian crown watch key
The is a lovely watch all hand made and in such good condition for 237 years old which you really see
Great for any collector or would make a special gift
