Early rare Bretby Oliver Twist ceramic figure

Lovely Glazed Pottery Figure of Oliver Twist.
Early rare figure from Bretby.
Bretby Art Pottery more properly known as Tooth & co Ltd. Started in 1883 by Henry Tooth and William Ault.
Ault left after four years and set up his own pottery in Swadlincote.
This figure dates to the early 1900s and is a very colourful version with a good Glaze. There is a signature on the back but I can not make it out.
Condition wise there is a little flake off his fingers where he holds the spoon, it is age related and barley visible.
Also there is some age related glazing.
Otherwise fully intact and lovely on display.
Height 8ins/20cms Width of base 4ins/10cms
Great collectable
