Moineau hardi - Sparrow head down.
This Lalique paperweight was originally designed by René Lalique in 1929. Production of this model has recently stopped.

This particular one is an example from c1940-50 - it bears the etched "Cristal Lalique France" mark to the base.

The base of the weight measures 4.1 cm (1.6") by 3.2 cm (1.3"). The height is 10 cm (3.8") and it is 12 cm (4.8") at its widest.
All measurements are approximate.

The weight is in good condition. There are no cracks or repairs. There is a very small chip and a visible scratch to the base.
