This is a stunning, super quality early Victorian rosewood chiffonier dating from around 1840 with fabulous grain, deep, rich colour and beautiful patination. The cabinet has three fret carved panelled doors with fabric backing and shelved interior. The mirror glass in in excellent clean condition and the back has a lovely carved solid rosewood crest and scrolling mounts. The cabinet has solid rosewood carved corbel detail and the doors have their original locks with working key.
A really handsome early cabinet hard to find in rosewood.
This measures 66" wide, 60" high by 18" deep.
