An exceptional Early Victorian mahogany serving table having a highly figured rectangular top with fine moulded edge, the frieze having moulded panels with applied carved decoration to front and sides, stnds on tapering turned carved reeded legs. the underside bears the label "T G.Wood. Cabinet maker & Upholsterer.Devonshire House, Sheffield
This table is especially useful in the dining room as a serving table but would also make a great table for the entrance hall.
