Early WW2 Military Cyma Stainless Steel Wristwatch

We have the pleasure of being able to offer for sale this WW2 Military Cyma wristwatch
This white dialed watch has an outer chapter/minute and hour hand marked with fluorescent radium, an inner chapter marked with Arabic numerals and a subsidiary second hand dial. The face is signed CYMA, Swiss made. The face sits bellow a good but lightly scratched perspex crystal. The 15 jewel movement is signed CYMA, Swiss Made and Patented and is encapsulated within a stainless steel screw back case, with the original crown. The back of the watch is marked with the British military arrow, over ATP, which is in turn over the serial No 48825. The inside of the back carries the BREVET mark, Swiss Made, Stainless steel and the serial No. 028983.
The watch is a small watch being approximately 1 ΒΆ1/4 inches (32mm) in diameter including the crown. It is in an excellent condition considering its age, with only light surface scratches to the case and light aging of the dial. The watch has just come back from servicing by our excellent watchmaker JH Oxtoby & Sons (est. 1894) and is presented on an old possibly 1950s/60s brown leather strap.
