A rare New Zealand Shipping Co Ltd teapot designed by Edward Bawden for Wedgwood. Exclusively for use by first class passengers during the late 1950's and early 60's and one of only 2 ceramic designs by Bawden for Wedgwood. The jug is in pristine condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, pattern loss or hairlines, and appears completely unused.An example of this design is displayed in the V&A Museum -
