An extremely rare dessert dish designed by Edward Bawden for The New Zealand Shipping Co Ltd. Issued by Wedgwood in 1958 and for exclusive use by first class passengers.
16cm dia / 3.5cm high
In superb condition. No chips, cracks, hairlines, crazing, transfer loss or restoration guaranteed, just a little cosmetic wear from use and a couple of under glaze specs from firing. A few stacking marks on the back and a small patch of yellowing to the glaze over the kiln resting points. White mark is camera flash.
