For sale is a very nice quality, exquisitely inlaid burea bookcase circa 1910. At the top, the bookcase has a swan neck pedement which too is inlaid in keeping with the rest of the bookcase. Around the two glazed doors it has satinwood banding. The top, when opened, has adjustable shelves. Below the top the fall of the bookcase has an urn and swags inlaid. The fall when opened reveals two drawers and several pigeon holes. The writing fall is fitted with a green leather insert with gold tooling. The bureau has four progressive long drawers and stands on bracket feet. The bureau bookcase comes into three separate sections (pediment, top and bottom). The bookcase has been restored and polished by hand. A nice item to grace any room.
