Edwardian Inlaid Sofa/Window Seat
Here we have for sale today this wonderful little Edwardian Inlaid sofa, couch, or window seat.
Manufacture in about 1905 and of typical Edwardian design and construction, all made in beech and standing on 6 legs all fitted with stretchers and spindles. Having this shaped and carved top rail with marquetry inserts and boxwood stringing. Turned front legs and turned arm supports, with these out-swept arms.Upholstered and padded inserts on the back section, with this upholstered and padded seat.
Its been into the workshop for a re-polish and looks stunning with this medium mahogany colour and lovely polish (please see pictures)
Recently re-seated and reupholstered in this top quality Linwood fabric and trimmed in this pale gold braid.
This item is solid in all its joints, with no breaks, please note that this window-seat is in excellent condition, ready to use and requires no restoration.
