Edwardian Ladies Sewing Set sewing case mother of pearl Charles Horner
An Edwardian ladies sewing set including a Charles Horner thimble. The tools have matching mother of pearl handles, the scissors are hand forged in Sheffield. Includes a corkscrew, penknife, scissors, ribbon threader, crochet hooks, file and the thimble. There is a tiny stable crack to the penknife handle. Both scissors cut well. The silver thimble is fully hallmarked for Chester with letter “B” for 1902, size 10, and is in very good condition. All fitting neatly into a leather bound case which snaps shut securely. The sewing case measures 6 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ x 1″.
