Edwardian Mahogany Armchair or Bedroom Chair
A handsome antique Edwardian open armchair or bedroom chair in mahogany dating from circa 1905. It has a ornately pierced back splat and carved top rail. With curved arms it stands on cabriole legs with original brass and ceramic casters. Good colour and patina, it has been newly reupholstered in cream embroidered fabric. A beautiful statement piece that would make a handsome armchair or bedroom chair.

Solid and sturdy with wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly reupholstered. Missing spandrel (the decorative corner piece underneath the seat rail) to lower left.
