A handsome and substantial antique Edwardian mahogany open armchair or desk chair in Queen Anne revival design dating from circa 1910. In a good quality richly figured mahogany with shell carved top rail. The chair features shepherds crook arms and it stands on cabriole legs. The drop-in seat has been newly reupholstered in a light grey velour type fabric. Comfortable and sturdy, would make a wonderful desk chair. A really good quality chair with good colour and patina, very solid and sturdy.
