Edwardian Mahogany Extending Writing Table c.1905
A smart Edwardian inlaid mahogany extending writing table, the well-figured rectangular top with drop leaves to either side, above a single long frieze drawer and raised on elegant turned and reeded legs terminating in original castors.
Slender proportions and simple lines provide an attractive aesthetic— ideal for use as a writing table, side table or compact desk.
Presented in very good antique condition with a deep, rich finish and some light surface wear consistent with age. The castors are a little stiff, but the piece is all structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
