Edwardian Mahogany Glazed Display Shop Cabinet by

A beautiful and rare Edwardian shop display cabinet, crafted by the renowned F. Sage & Co. Ltd. of London — a prestigious manufacturer known for their bespoke shop fittings and cabinetry during the late Victorian and Edwardian eras.
This cabinet features a classic rectangular form with clean lines and a warm, rich mahogany frame. The tall display case is fully glazed on all sides — including the twin front doors, sides, and top — allowing for maximum visibility and light penetration to showcase items within from all angles.
Internally, it is fitted with six adjustable glass shelves, supported by an integrated brass pin-track system, making it highly versatile for various display needs. The clear glass shelves and panels beautifully contrast with the polished wood.
Beneath the cabinet sits a parquet-style mahogany base, further showcasing the quality of the woodwork. It stands on elegantly tapered square legs, with spade feet.
The cabinet retains its original brass hardware, and proudly bears the maker’s plaque:
“F. SAGE & CO. LTD., LONDON”, a mark of quality and prestige in early 20th-century shopfitting.
This cabinet would have originally graced an upscale Edwardian retail establishment, today, it would make a striking and practical addition to a home, gallery, or commercial interior — perfect for showcasing collectibles, books, or curiosities.
(Some visible marks, in keeping with age. The glazed cabinet lifts off its base for transport - it is very heavy!)
