Edwardian Mahogany Ladies Writing Desk c1900
Antique Edwardian Mahogany Ladies Writing Desk and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a faux leather skiver set within a mahogany surround with fine inlaid stringing and above one long single drawer and four small drawers all of which are mahogany lined with inlaid stringing to the fronts and with original gilt brass handles. It stands on tapering legs with fine stringing on original castors.
Measures 30" high x knee height 24" x 19" deep x 36" wide
In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
