A handsome and substantial antique Edwardian mahogany open armchair in Chippendale style design dating from circa 1910. With carved back splat, standing on elegantly carved cabriole legs with ball and claw feet. The drop-in seat has been recently reupholstered in a quality red leather. Solid and sturdy, would make a wonderful desk chair.

Condition Report:
Frame solid and sturdy. Good colour and patina. Newly reupholstered. A small split to arm which is solid (see photo) . General wear and marks commensurate with age.
