Striking filing/ music cabinet made in solid oak having tambour front. Makers label at the back reads Cooke's (Finsbury) Ltd, who were first established in London in 1885 and produced quality antique furniture and cabinets for both the home and commercial interiors around the UK. It's tambour front having it's original lock and key folds down and retracts to within the body of the filing cabinet revealing 8 oak sliding shelves each suitable for A4 sized paper. The sides are panelled and shows the superb graining of the oak. Castors which enables easy movement around the home/office are enclosed in the plinthed base. This cabinet with its wonderful rich oak colour and great patina is not only useful but is a very handsome piece that will look stunning in any home/ office.
