Edwardian Silver Fob Watch And Albertina
A lady’s Edwardian Fine Silver fob watch with Continental silver albertina.
The watch has a key-winding cylinder movement which is working nicely and keeping good time to within around five minutes over 24 hours. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover. A winding key is included.
The watch measures 40mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is Fine Silver which is very pure, 99.9% as opposed to sterling which is 92.5%. The back and sides of the case are beautifully detailed.
The watch glass is in good order.
The watch has a pretty enamel dial with hand painted detail around the centre. There are a few hairline cracks but they are faint.
The watch comes with a single albertina which measures 19cm long. The albertina is Continental and made of a low purity silver, probably 80%. There is also a 1902 coin and small acorn acting as fobs.
