An antique Silver Pocket Watch by John Forrest of London.
The English silver case is hallmarked with the maker's mark "ALD" for A L Dennison, The Birmingham town mark, the Lion Passant Silver Mark and date letter "k" for 1909/10. It has engine turned engraving with a central cartouche that is free of initials. It is in good condition with some extremely minor indents, barely noticeable but mentioned for accuracy.
The dial is signed "John Forrest, London" and "Chronometer Maker to the Admiralty" (the British Royal Navy).
The movement is in good condition and working order. It is also signed "John Forrest, London" and "Chronometer Maker to the Admiralty".
The glass is in good condition but has some surface scratches commensurate with age.
It is key wound and set with the key provided.
