Gorgeous walnut ladies writing bureau of the Edwardian era. The quartered walnut veneer fall front writing surface rests on two pull out slides and has a wonderfully rich fitted interior. Beneath the fall 4 oak lined drawers fitted with their original brass handles, escutcheons ( with key) and a beautifully shaped apron raised on elegant cabriole legs which terminate in pad feet. The carved shell on the central drawer is a stunning feature and along with it's gorgeous rich colouring really stands out from other bureaus. It’s of very high quality and is a great size so doesn't take up much space however offers an ample work area and will look great in that home office.
