Edwardian Walnut Wing Back Armchair

Quality and elegant wing back Sheraton revival armchair in walnut and dating to the Edwardian period. The shaped and pierced top rail features lovely marquetry inlay detail in boxwood and bone. String inlay is also found throughout the armchair on the wings, side arm splats, the seat and the cabriole forelegs. The padded back, wings, armrests and sprung seat have been entirely traditionally re-upholstered from frame by The Sitting Place. The armchair is finished in lovely linen Dittisham fabric by Linwood (Harbour Blue colour). The pretty pattern beautifully complements this Edwardian armchair and the pattern repeat is continuous throughout. This armchair would add elegance to a living room or even a bedroom setting. The table and accessories are for display purposes only.
Where applicable, our upholstered items of stock are fully newly traditionally re-upholstered in-house using only traditional materials and no foam so as to be in-keeping with the age of the piece as an antique.

Returns policy
There is a right to cancel an order from the moment the order is placed to The Sitting Place up to 14 days from the day the item is delivered/received. In the unlikely event that the customer/buyer is not pleased with a purchase made from The Sitting Place, the item in question may be returned. Notification of a return to The Sitting Place is to be made by the customer by email or by phone on +44(0)7341770324.
The item needs to be returned within a further 14 days to The Sitting Place and in the condition the item was received and suitable for re-sale. The customer is to take reasonable care and ensure that the item is well protected when returning the item. The customer is informed that a deduction of the refund will be made to cover for delivery cost to complete the return of the item(s) (unless otherwise agreed). A further reduction of the refund can be made by The Sitting Place if the value of the item has been reduced as a result of the customer handling the item more than was necessary or as a result of the item being soiled and/or damaged.
The return of the item will be arranged by The Sitting Place. Refunds will be made to the customer/buyer, within 14 days of The Sitting Place receiving the returned item(s). Returns cannot be made for items purchased from outside the United Kingdom.
