A delightful extra-large silk Jacquard Egyptian revival French piano shawl from the Art Deco period (1920s). The shawl is intricately woven with highly detailed depictions of Egyptian motifs and scenes with Pharos. The shawl was stored away in a drawer for a very long period thus, it has no fading of the colours and remains as vivid as it was 100 years ago.

This beautiful, large piano shawl can be used as a bed throw, a lounge blanket or even a gorgeous wall decoration.

Condition: There is a tiny loss of trim on the lower right-hand side (3.5cm) but not noticeable unless pointed out otherwise, it's in amazing condition for its age.

Dimensions: Width 194cm without trim 210cm, with trim, Height 230cm without trim, 246cm with trim.
